Input Errors

Wrong Dictionaries Open

Dictionary Language Not Active: You are converting a (type) object, but the (type) dictionaries are open. You are looking up or translating(4- 7) a certain type of text object(4- 1), but the open dictionary language set(4- 7) does not handle that type. Select OK, then select Translate | Select Dictionaries to open the correct dictionaries.

No Dictionary

No Dictionary: (Object type, Dictionary type) Dictionary not installed. Use Translate | Select Dictionaries to remove entry, or re-install: While ope ning the various dictionaries for your chosen language, the indicated dictionary was not found or specified, so Smart Characters reports that the dictionary is absent. If the dictionary does not exist, select Ignore to disable the dictionary. Otherwise, select Browse to check the name and path. If you cannot find the dictionary, select Cancel on the Open File(3- 1) dialog to disable the dictionary.

Alternatively, you invoked the Translate Reference Dictionary(3- F- ) command to load your reference dictionary(4- 8) into a document window, but there is no reference dictionary specified for the active language set(4- 7). Select OK, then select Translate | Select Dictionaries to specify a reference dictionary and try again.

External Dictionary Not Installed

Not Installed: External Dictionary not installed indicates that you have not installed an external dictionary(4- 8). Select OK.

Target Not Found

Target not found: (Target, Ascii target): The search target wasn't found. The Search Target Ascii Codes is the ASCII Code(D- - 1) representation of the target. Select OK.

Entry Out Of Bounds

Out of Bounds: (Entry) must be between (low) and (high) pops up whenever you change a parameter beyond its capability, and your entry is out of bounds. Note the allowable range, select OK, and try again.

No Glossary or Keyboard

(Object Type Name) (Glossary or Keyboard): No file name specified indicates that you need to specify a keyboard or dynamic glossary(4- 6) file before editing. Select OK.

Input Method Has No Preferences

(Input method name): No Preferences to Set: the indicated input method does not have any preferences to setup. Select OK.

Input Method Not Installed

(Input method name): Method not installed: the indicated input method is not installed. Select OK.
