Word Processor Window menu

Cascade

Use the Window Cascade command to diagonally arrange and display all document windows which are not minimized (icons). This allows you to view multiple documents by title at a glance.

Tile Vertically

Use the Window Tile Vertically command to arrange and display all document windows that are not minimized (icons) vertically. This allows you to view multiple documents and text simultaneously

Tile Horizontally

Use the Window Tile Horizontally command to arrange and display all document windows that are not minimized (icons) horizontally so that you may view multiple documents and text simultaneously.

Arrange Icons

Use the Arrange Icons command to move all of your icons to the bottom of the main frame window.

Close All

The Close All command closes all document windows except the fixed windows, which are minimized (made into icons).

Activate Child Window

The last section of the Window menu is the variable Activate Child Window list which shows all the open document windows. Select a window to activate the window and move it to the top.

The first five windows (numbered 1-5) are permanent document(4- 3) which are always part of the Smart Characters main frame window, and which cannot be closed. All the others are open documents or references, and can closed or added to as desired using File | Close or Close on the document window system menu. Closed documents are added to the File menu Quick Open(3- 6) list, for ease of re-opening.
