Smart Characters for Windows Accessory Files

All files are archived and encrypted using the Zip format, and some require a new license registration number to activate. To obtain the decryption key and/or a new license, you must first order the accessory. To do so, contact Apropos Customer Service. • DoubleByte TrueType Font Interface (lic) build 22 update (supports unicode Chinese fonts). The directions for installing the interface are included in the zip archive file. To extract the directions, enter "unzip dbttfi22." Open and read the file "dbttfi.doc" using Smart Characters or Notepad.

Smart Characters for Windows User's Group Japanese Examples

All files are archived using the Zip format. These fonts allow you to open files created by native word processors without converting to the Smart Characters Combined symbol set:

• Japanese JIS 24 point font Level I and Level II.
• Japanese JIS 16 point font Level I and Level II.
• Edict 71000 Japanese word dictionary in Smart Characters format. This version (5/8/96) has correctly unified characters, a better install program, and better directions.

Smart Characters for Windows User's Group Chinese Examples

All files are archived using the Zip format. These fonts allow you to open files created by native word processors without converting to the Smart Characters Combined symbol set:

• Chinese Big 5 24 point Ming font.
• Chinese GuaBiao 24 point font.
